A Geographical cover has been voted one of the best magazine covers in the whole country

Geographical has just won another competition, which is always nice.

This time it was for the cover of our January issue featuring a Bengal tiger. It has been voted the best Business and General Interest magazine cover in the whole of the UK, after receiving a huge share of the 30,000 public votes placed in a competition run by The Maggies to find the best magazine cover in the country.

Sadly we didn't win the prize for best overall cover image, as that went to a Q magazine cover showing Lilly Allen slinking around with some big cats, but our own fronting feline did beat several magazine covers in its own category including the iconic (and now very famous) Time magazine cover featuring Barack Obama.
