Article proposals
Geographical publishes articles by professional writers and journalists and, on occasion, professionals working within geography-related fields. The magazine receives a great many proposals on a weekly basis. Therefore it is an unfortunate fact that editors cannot respond to each proposal on a personal and individual basis.

Feature proposals should be sent to proposals@geographical.co.uk , comprising a 150-200 word synopsis of the article you intend to write for Geographical.

Photography
The art director is happy to see portfolios by professional photographers. Please send proposals for photostories with LOW RES image selection or a weblink to the email address above.

Books for review
Please send manuscripts and books for review to Johannah Sargent at the address listed on the Contact Us page.

Letters to the Editor
Should be mailed to the address on the Contact Us page, or emailed to: magazine@geographical.co.uk . Please write "FAO Geordie Torr / Letters Page" in the subject box and include your address.

Please note: Geographical cannot guarantee a response to unsolicited work, but every effort will be made to respond. Neither can it take responsibility for submissions but will take all reasonable care of material in its possession.
