In fact we have designed our digital subscription to allow you to access Geographical on all these devices plus FREE access to every Geographical issue for the last 5 years, all from one subscription.
To really take advantage of the advances digital can offer you can click on links within the magazine, dial telephone numbers, look up postcodes on maps as well as direct linking of pages from the contents page so you can skip to your favourite sections.

Notice the green clickable links. This allows you skip straight to your favourite section within the magazine. Just press the relevant page number and you will be taken straight to that page.
Need to browse quickly through the magazine? We have added a handy "Coverflow" stream at the bottom of the app. You can flick through smaller versions of the magazines pages and select which page interests you to jump right there.
Our search facility allows you to quickly find articles that match specific keywords you are looking for, not just in the current magazine but also in the archive back over 5 years of Geographicals (needs wifi connection). Great if you need to research a subject and want to find all relevant information to it.
You can sign up to access all digital versions of Geographical for just one price by clicking Geographical Magazine Digital then selecting the period you want to subscribe for at the top of the screen.

1. Download the App for free from iTunes store, either through Newsstand or by visiting the App store.
2. Once downloaded, open the App and scroll through the free pages. There will be about 7 or 8. Once you
reach the paid pages you will be asked to either buy a subscription or enter your Shared Access Code (SAC).
3. Your SAC can be found logging in to the Exact Editions website and selecting Preferences in the top right hand corner. It will look something like this - 25B36FC. Please note that letters in the codes run from A to F and the numbers from 0-9.
4. Please enter your code into the app and press Done on the keyboard that pops up.
5. Your device will now be sharing your paid access. To sync issues please open the app and open 'Issues' in the top left hand corner.
6. Simply select the white/clear star(s) next to the issue(s) you would like to sync. The star will turn green and the issue will begin syncing. If another issue is already syncing on a the same, or a different, app then the issue will be queued.
7. Once the sync is complete you will hear a chime. The issue will then be available to read without an internet connection.
2. Download the Amazon Appstore app by going here on your device:

3. When the download is complete, tap the icon to install the AppStore app.
4. Once the app has installed, open it and log in with your Amazon account.
5. You can now search for your app, download and install it on your device

2. Once downloaded, open the App and you will be prompted to enter your Exact Editions log in details.
3. Simply enter your details and press Save. You will also have the option to turn off the free content that comes with the app, meaning that you will only see the magazine that you are subscribed to.
4. Your Android device will now be sharing your subscription.
1. From home, tap Newsstand and tap the search icon.
2. Please search for Geographical Magazine app, download and install on to your Kindle Fire.
3. Open the app, you will be given the option to purchase, you will need to enter your amazon log- in credentials.
4. Once the app has been installed and a subscription has been purchased it will automatically sync the latest issue to your device.

Instructions for existing web or universal subscribers
In order to gain app access your subscribers will need to obtain a Shared Access Code.
Shared Access Code
1. To obtain your shared access code you will need to log on to the Exact Editions website.
2. Click on 'Preferences' in the top right hand corner.
3. Under the Apps heading in this section you will find your Shared Access Code.
How to access you app on the Kindle Fire
1. Please search for your app, download and install it on your device
2. Once your Exact Editions account has been set up, launch app.
3. You will be presented with a screen inviting you to purchase a subscription.
You will now have the opportunity to enter your shared access code.
5. For the best reading experience please ensure your device has a wi-fi connection.
(Please note that a wi-fi connection is required to sync the latest issue to your device.)
6. When the app is installed it will automatically sync the latest issue to your device. You can also sync back issues to a device. Once the sync is complete it will be available for offline reading.
