Car salesmen from the West Midlands are the least eco-friendly people in Britain, according to a recent poll. Conceived by power company npower and a psychologist from the University of Leicester, the Green Net Aptitude (GNA) scale found that people’s personalities, background and surroundings determine how green they are. The study of 2,455 people, also found that women were greener than men, people from Yorkshire are more likely to save power or recycle and that drivers of heavy Sports Utility Vehicles are more likely to recycle or use energy-saving lightbulbs than drivers of smaller cars.
