In the Rift Valley, in the northwest of Kenya, water shortages have historically lead to skirmishes between the cattle-herding Turkana and Pokot tribes. But, now, as guns replace bows and arrows, and the populations in the region continue to grow, death tolls are rising, and women and children are increasingly being caught up in the violence
